I met Russ by taking a few of his group lessons through NYC tennis meet up and quickly realized he was an amazing instructor and an even more amazing human being. This was three years ago, and since then I have probably taken close to 100 private lessons with him and my tennis skills have improved tremendously. Russ notices every detail of your body movement, racket position, and follow through and helps you make adjustments that transform your game. He's a very experienced instructor and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to beginner as well as advanced players.

It is with great pleasure that I put forth my resounding endorsement of Russ Cormier as a tennis teaching professional at the Inwood Hill Park. I have known Russ for a number of years and he is an excellent teacher of tennis technique. Furthermore, in addition to teaching tennis to adults, Russ often donates his time freely to teach youngsters, especially those who are underprivileged.
